Baby Boy News

My OB Calendar says I have 140++ days more before I finally meet the little man behind my big tummy. Sometimes, I think it's still too long because I want to see him already but sometimes I thought he'd better be staying steady inside my tummy first while I set and everything for his arrival. 

Two days ago, I had my Congenital Anomaly Scan Ultrasound. A prenatal procedure where moms undergo an ultrasound with a sonologist of course, to check if the baby has congenital problems like clef palette, hydrocephalus or malfunctioning organs. Also, this ultrasound could already tell the gender of the baby. 

The day I learned I was pregnant, I always prayed for a little girl. Well, primarily because I want to have a mini-me and second reason was because all we have in the family are nephews. Even our closest friends have little boys already. So I was praying for a girl while Kali wished for  a baby boy. Well I guess, men are all like that. They want their first child to be a boy while wanted the opposite result. 

Going back to my CAS story, a gay sonologist assisted us. Asked if he was allowed to tell the gender already or keep mum about it. Well, apparently while he was doing the scan thing, he saw already the gender of my baby. Kali won. All the while, he was a baby boy. At first, I was quite sad and disappointed. I didn't prepared a  baby boy name. All I have in mind was Tala Aletheia. But after the scan results were read, I'm relieved and thankful that my baby was in good shape. It didn't matter to me at all if he was a boy or a girl, basta healthy I'm happy.
